Jonathan G. Hart was born and raised in Stanford, Kentucky, where he attended Lincoln County High School, lettering in baseball, golf, and swimming. Graduating as the valedictorian of his high school class, Mr. Hart attended DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana on full academic scholarship and was a member/captain of the Men's Swim Team. Upon graduation, Mr. Hart attended law school at Northern Kentucky University's Salmon P. Chase College of Law. During law school, Jonathan clerked at the law firms of Dressman, Benzinger, & LaVelle, and Smith, Rolfes & Skavdahl, as well as serving as a research assistant to Professor Donald Kazee.
After graduating from law school, Mr. Hart was admitted to the practice of law in both Ohio and Kentucky. Mr. Hart began his career at the Kenton County Attorney's Office, where he served as an Assistant Kenton County Attorney. As an Assistant County Attorney, he prosecuted adult misdemeanors, DUI's, juvenile felonies and misdemeanors, juvenile status offenses, and family court dependency, neglect, and abuse cases. While a prosecutor, Mr. Hart was named to the 2012 class of Leadership Northern Kentucky.
Mr. Hart joined the law firm of Busald Funk Zevely in November 2012 and focuses his practice mainly on criminal defense, DUI defense and family law. He currently resides in Villa Hills with his wife, Julie, and their two children, William and Magdalene.
